Geophysical
Research for
Hydrogeological
Resources

Our Core Business

Find the optimum drilling locations for the sustainable exploitation of hydrogeological resources.

Our geophysical search technology makes hydrogeological exploitations  maximize:

  • the collected flow (minimum loss),
  • the well lifespan (minimum clogging),
  • the quality of the groundwater drawn (purest brine),

while minimizing the drilling depth (drawing at the neck of the aquifer or groundwater reservoir ).

Our
Services

We are a service company willing to tie our revenue to the outcome of our geophysical searches

Provided at least one exploratory drilling takes place at the specified drilling spot (if recommended after our geophysical search), and

Provided that, if the outcome of the exploratory drilling is favorable, you'll move on to exploit the hydrogeological resource.

Geothermal
Surveys

Geothermal Power Plant

Searching for Geothermal Reservoirs

Specify where to drill for collecting energy from geothermal reservoirs

Actually searching for the optimum collecting spot of geothermal reservoirs : we don't aim at just reaching the target ...we aim at reaching the center of target.

Hydrothermal
Surveys

Hydrothermal Resources

Finding Hot Springs for Balneotherapy

Assuming that the immense majority of hot springs do not reach the surface

Even without surface manifestation, as not all upward hydrothermal flow reach the surface (they mostly hit an aquifer before). And even if there is surface manifestation, finding a good drilling spot is not straightforward with legacy geophysics, whereas it is for us.

Hydromineral
Surveys

Locating the optimal collecting spot for mineral water extraction

A hard to find priceless natural resource

Mineral water bearing sites have two key characteristics : they are exempt from pollution and they are fed by an hydrothermal upward flow... therefore they also produce an outgoing flow. The leakage point[s] (called exurgence) of these aquifers are the optimal collecting spot[s] for mineral water extraction.

Other
Hydrogeological
Surveys

Oil Recovery, groundwater quality sampling and more...

Oil recovery by retro-injection of water is a delicate operation: a lot of water can be spilled underground without much oil being recovered. Another example is the assessment of groundwater pollution for which the flow rate and the underground travel distance of pollutants can vary immensely, even for groundwater separated by tiny distances.

Research
Field :
Angiogeology

We developed, from scratch, a new branch of hydrogeology, called angiogeology. Angiogeology is the conceptual framework that we make evolve both with our geophysical search technology and with our 3-D mapping technique of groundwater flows.

Angiogeology revolutionizes the understanding of groundwater hydrodynamics and makes geophysical search for groundwater much more:

  • efficacious : we meet the objectives set (assuming they are "reasonable")
  • efficient : we deliver results quickly and we strive for a win-win end-result with the operator exploiting the groundwater resource.
  • effective : we achieve results (whenever there is a possibility to).

Upward
Groundwater
Flows

We search for upward groundwater flow and not for "water deposit" in the form of a reservoir, an aquifer or a phreatic zone.

Concentrated Flows
Through
Natural Conduits

Only concentrated flows through natural conduits can be efficiently and sustainably drawn.

Drawing groundwater
at the very best spot

The very best spot to draw groundwater from is the natural leakage point of an aquifer (called exurgence).

Getting wells
to live much longer

By drawing groundwater from their natural flow - and not drawing more than what the natural flow produces (i.e. not emptying a "static" water deposit integrated to that flow) - we get the purest possible water that will not clog the well.

We respect
Our most
vital
Resource

We provide reliable hydrogeological research services enabling an operator to sustainably exploit groundwater resources. This is our pledge to conciliate human vital needs with the preservation of our biotic environment.

We draw groundwater directly from the natural flows and we never draw more than what the natural flow produces (but close to what it produces). We never empty a groundwater deposit (be it in the form of a geothermal or hydrothermal reservoir, an aquifer or the phreatic zone).

Both the Nature and the Hydrogeological Operator win by respecting the natural groundwater flow balance.
